Conversations

These are the talks I'd want to have at a table by the window.

Some begin with a question about Jesus. Some begin with a cup of tea, a plant that won't grow, or a tool that does exactly one thing well. In each one I picture Jesus joining in. Sometimes he's across the table with his coffee. Sometimes he's at the bench while we try a simple tool and find out what it, and we, are made of.

They aren't lessons. They're places to start. Read one slowly. Sit with the question. Talk it over with someone, or with him.
